Playing Outside

This week with the kids, I have really been encouraging outside play. Fortunately for me the weather has been cooperative and they are really enjoying playing with chalk and cars. Today, there was the combination of clouds and a light breeze that made outside pleasant to be in. We turned of the AC and opened the windows and doors to let the cool air flow through while we spent the afternoon creating roads and filling them with cars.

The wedding was beautiful! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and couldn't have been more perfect for celebrating such a joyous occasion. I had a great time visiting with the family and really wish we could have stayed longer.

Jacob and I got a little crafty with our wedding gift! We had fun making it and felt great about giving them something homemade.

Spy Week!

Day 1

I am trying to do something that will spike the interest of kiddos for after school. Today was pretty fun :)

On Today's Agenda

Book:  I Spy
Journal: What about you makes you the perfect spy?
Craft: The Ultimate Disguise
Activity: Laser Beam Challenge

Joey helped me make this nearly impossible to get through. He said the one I made was too easy.

The Laser was too much for the newbie spies. On a happy note, they died peacefully.

Who are these gents in my hallway?
